The Flanders Nano and Bio ecosystem have a voice in the
Big Apple. The Flanders Investment and Trade Office has
as focus biotechnology and nanobio to stimulate
trans-atlantic interactions between Flanders-Belgium and
the United States.

IMEC and Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering sign Memorandum of
Understanding to exchange students.

Feb 25, 2009 - New York

At the opening of the Flanders House in the New York Times Building at
40th street and 8th avenue, the first cooperation agreement signed was
done in the presence of Flemish Minister-president Kris Peeters and
Secretary Patricia Ceysens who co-signed as witnesses.

Under the agreement, Olin College, a prestigious Boston-based university
and IMEC, the leading nanotech R&D center in Europe, will exchange
students between their organizations. Signees were President Richard K.
Miller of Olin, Hubert De Neve, Senior Vice President of IMEC and Jo
Decuyper, President of the RVO-Society.
